Your Pet's Photo on Real Wood

Natural timber from the woodlands of Scotland

The timbers we use to make your plaques are taken from the broadleafed woodlands of Scotland. We purchase our timber from Scottish Wood, who are part of the programme of Dynamic Woods, a Scottish charity that works to realise the true potential of our woodland resources, improving the local environment and boosting local economies.

We use different kinds of wood as trees become available, but we try to always keep oak, ash, elm and yew in stock in all the different sizes. From time to time other special woods become available, and we will put details of these onto this web site.

All our timber is taken from trees that would otherwise have gone to waste. We use planks from the narrow part of the tree's trunk, to give us the sizes of plaque we need. Each plaque has an attractive "natural" edge along two sides, and because of this, and variations in plank size, the shape and exact size of each plaque is different.

So, the first step in ordering your Pet Plaque is to choose the wood that you would like to use as the background for the picture of your pet.
